The gap between technical and non-technical people in AI is widening. This comprehensive glossary and visualization guide bridges that gap, helping anyone understand the building blocks of AI.
Great article, Elena, and those graphics are on-point!
The one thing that's radically helped my prompting, in addition to everything you share in the AI Prompt Structure, is to always provide an example of what "good" looks like.
It's been a game-changer for every single prompt I use.
I agree Mike, just as we learn from examples, Generative AI also improves performance when given examples. This technique, known as one-shotting or few-shotting (one or more examples), is highly recommended practice.
Thanks Suhrab, then I will add yours to my new tool where I'm condensing all these information and I'll promoting Substacks (or Substackers?) that teach about AI :)
This is a brilliant synopsis of the core ideas and terms non-technical people would benefit from! If anyone wants a more meandering but useful and non-tech-oriented exploration into some of the concepts, I'd present you my take on them: https://ashstuart.substack.com/t/conc
