I saw the same three key responses the first time I showed an AI generated prototype- people didn’t trust it, wanted to make it again themselves. So then I showed them how I did it and started bringing them along for the ride and now they’re excited.
One developer was very hesitant at first but he just felt threatened about his “coding” abilities.
Last week I showed him that there was more than just review code with AI like considering error handling in his development, verify scenarios for “unhappy” user flows, and even break things to detect errors.
Once they see the actual benefit they get from it there’s no turning back. Now he has asked for a copilot license! 😆
