Stop overthinking and start building. Here's how I turned a simple idea into a working quiz app in 30 minutes, and what it taught me about the new era of AI experimentation.
Fun little project there Elena! I'm in the deciding stages of my next one. Really excited to see how some of these tools have advanced even in the few months since I finished my last one.
This is an excellent foundation any company could white-label and tweak to get a handle on the different areas of improvement for their product people at every level.
Kudos!
I started off with persistence and login for my app.
I also wanted to make login easy and incorporated Google OAuth.
Those two simple pieces required closer to 40-45 hours to create my streategy framework alpha app:
Thanks for sharing, I’m trying the test. It may be helpful to track my progress in Performance Reviews with my manager. It’s a fair metric or reference. 👌
Wow, Antonio I had never thought of that but I like the way you put it, maybe I can improve the questionnaire to provide an evaluation better aligned to a performance evaluation.

Congratulations on your first app and developing a process that works for you! Agree that most development with LLMs requires patience and a willingness to iterate. 😆
Yes, you know I was hesitant to share my building process because I'm pretty sure there are much better prompts, processes and tools out there, but thanks to you I've decided I don't care anymore and give it a try :)

I know right? They are evolving rapidly. I'm eager to see what you build next!
Yeeees, Elena! So cool to have you join the builders!!! Congratulations on your app!
Thanks, Karo! Means a lot :)
This is remarkably powerful, Elena!
And such a useful application, as well.

I also used Lovable, then used Claude and Cursor with Supabase to get things into working order.
But I'll definitely share your app with product leadership at my org, Elena!
Great stuff.

I’m glad you did! ❤️ I also think the “best” AI-assisted dev process will vary a lot based on the project, the person, and the model.
