Have you started to play with the JIRA type tools and prompting them for stories? Based on how well things are written, they actually do a great job. Slowly taking away the need for me :)
Sounds great, Mike! You know, I have only seen Fibery.io implement such thing. I wonder if Azdo can really do something with AI it will be very interesting to play with.
This great. Very actionable. I’m not a fan of using PRDs or INVEST (not very real to be used), so your very clean and structured approach to stories is worth of a try! I’m curious to start asking directly in refinements as a checklist, about the challenges in the scenarios and risks following this order you propose.
Thanks, as always something different and interesting to try every week!! 👌
Thanks Antonio! I have always thought that PMs should use whatever works for them and their audience. Sometimes you'll have to find that sweet spot mixing different things!
I am curious on your take on balancing PRD and the user stories. I love how comprehensive you went into details on how to draft user stories. I think part of what you share also blurs the line with PRDs.
In some ways yes. I consider PRDs to be for a much broader audience and a good way to start sometimes, whereas these US are very specific to engineering teams.
In my experience, I have started with a simple PRD and it evolves into story mapping. Story mapping communicates visually even better with stakeholders. It depends on your audience, some people are not interested in seeing sticky notes on a whiteboard.
All in all, great question! In your experience, what works best for you?
